Hello There. VivBounty here with a quick post to let you know we are live on the, “Adopted Dogs Progress”, page at Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue Shelter site where we found our precious dog, Pedro.
In a previous post, I shared with you how we adopted this large dog, raised him running on a beach in Spain for 4 years and then had to put him in a travel crate. Luckily, we had plenty of time to get him used to sleeping in the crate making it easy for him to walk into it without trauma when it came time to travel. See the story of how we got Pedro used to his pet travel carrier here.
It was fate that we saw that ad from the shelter and hope that this post will bring attention to the wonderful work this organization does to combat cruelty to animals. Bravo Noah’s Arc!
As the season approaches, remember, a pet is not an appropriate surprise Christmas gift. If you do decide to get or give a dog this season, please visit a reputable animal shelter first. Make sure the home is really ready for the responsibility of adopting another family member, as that is who the dog will be. There are so many dogs, just dying for a loving home and family.
Until next time, consider fostering a dog to see if you are really prepared to adopt one.
Prosperous Blessings,
VivBounty

Hi There, VivBounty here with a tale of getting the now-85-lb-dog off our sofa. As you will read in the HubPage below, I was immediately at a disadvantage with this disciplinary task with my husband being predisposed to sharing all his furniture with his pets. Read on to see what I mean >>read more>>
So we got Pedro this mammoth dog bed also known as a doggie sofa and it was left up to me to convince him that his sofa was better than our sofa. I have photos of its arrival and me laying on it patting the cushion to convince him to join me. Then a sequential shot of he and I together on his doggie couch, which I choose not to share as I was having a bad hair day. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.
Fortunately, as you can see he now loves it and even begrudgingly shares it with his kitten sister, Scampy. I cannot tell you how relieved I am that we don’t have to wrestle with him for space on our settee anymore and he hasn’t gotten any smaller with age.
A little out of sequence, but next time I shall share with you the other cat sibling Pedro had in Spain. Stay tuned for the story of our cat, Chaussettes and lots of pictures.
Prosperous Blessings,
VivBounty
